Youth Chat is a non-profit initiative dedicated to providing crucial social support to young Australians. A vision to not only listen to those who need to be heard but elevate their voices to the wider community. We aim to be a model of inclusivity, advocating that inclusive language becomes a norm in service delivery across Australia's diverse landscape.
Mission
Our mission is to ensure that no young person feels isolated due to language barriers or a lack of access to resources.
Our work aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (3,10,11 and 17), contributing to a global effort towards a more inclusive, healthy, and sustainable future.
Unlike traditional services, Youth Chat breaks down barriers and removes the sense of isolation many young, culturally and linguistically diverse individuals face.
